• A computer simulation by a constant-temperature and constant-pressure moleculardynamics method has been applied to Ag.Se to investigate the low temperature phasetransition between a superionic phase and a nonsuperionic phase. The pair-wisepotential model used by Rino et at. to study the superionic and molten state of Ag.Sehas been used. The low temperature structure obtaimaed by the calculations is or-thorhornbic with a=4.29, b=6,82, c=S.25 A, and the space group is Pmnb. This isvery similar to that observed experimentally, which is orthorhombic with v=4.333,b=7.O62, c=7.764 A, and the space group, P2.2,2..superionic conductor, phase transition, MD simulation
