概要

We consider a semi-infinite intercalated compound, which is made of alternatinglayers of conduction electrons and mobile ions, and examine collective excitations ofthe system. Collective excitations of an infinitely extended system are also discussed. These properties are derived by a classical analysis using Maxwell's equations.
