概要

The velocity fluctuation noise is observed in the nematic liquid crystal MBBA at various voltages. It is found that the noise amplitude shows a maximum at the point where a new dissipative structure appears. The validity of the central limit theorem is confirmed by the fact that the histograph of the noise becomes the Gaussian type of distribution in our case.
