The electronic states of a quasi-one-dimensional conductor Cu...V.0.. system withx?2 have been studied through the use of magnetic resonance measurements. Thesystem undergoes magnetic and structural transitions at T. : 300 K. In particular, thetransitions in the compound where x>2 are characterized by a charge transfer be-tween the Cu and V ions, where the 3d-electrons of V and Cu ions contribute to themagnetic properties in the temperature x'egion above and below T., respectively.[one-dimensional conductor, phase transition, charge transfer, magnetic ll resonanceI
