Measurexaaeutts of the "'Ta autd "Nb spin-lattice relaxation time T. at lowtexvaperatures are reported for the 2H polytypes of TaS. autd NbS. a?ad theirpyridjmae intercalation co?npourads. An analysis of T.T shows that, on the infer-calation of pyridine nxolecules, the density of states at Fermi level 7V(E.=) increasesabout 30% for 2H-TaS., while decreases abotut 303 for 2H-NbS.. This issuggestive of charge transfer from pyridixte molecules to d.n conduction band ofthe disulfides.
