Nuclear rnagnetic resonance of "Co in a metallic thiospinel conapound C0C02S4 was carriedout at 75 MHz in a texnperatvxre range between 1.4 and 260 K to study the properties of the lowfrequency spin dynamics at the tetrahedral A and the octahedral B sites. From the combinationof the "Co Knight shift, spin-lattice relaxation rate and susceptibility rneasurernents, it is con-cluded that the stoichiornetric COCO2S4 belongs to a group of weakly antiferrornagnetic metalswith the N!el teznperattmre of :55 K. The magnetic properties of Ctr substittrted compounds(Con .TCUI)CO2S4 were also studied. The restmlts exhibited that the light substittution lowers theNeel temperature and the heavy substittrtion leads the compotrnd to a nearly Pauli paramagneticmetal.
