Interband Effect on Magnetic Susceptibility. : I. A Simple Two-Band Model

The interband effect on the steady magnetic susceptibility is calculated by a new method for a perfect crystal in which the periodic potential is assumed to be one-dimensionally sinusoidal. The results are compared with those of Adams who treated the same model.
