The effects of Umklapp scatteritug on electronic states are studied in one spatial dirnensionat absoltrte zero. The tauodel is basically the Hubbard tnodel, where parauneters claaracterizingthe norraaal (&) and Umklapp (U) scattering ?tre treated independently. Tlte density of statesIS calcvrlated in the t-unatrix approxinaation by t?tkizag oruly the f'orward and Unulclapp scatteringinto account. It is fottnd that tlte Unaklapp scattering c;ruses the global splitting of the density ofstates. Tut tlae presence of sufficiently strong Urnklapp scattering, a pole in tl'xe t-tnatrix appears111 the trpper half plane, signalling ll'l instability toxvards the 'G/2 -pairing' ordered state (G isthe reciprocal lattice vector), whose conseqtrezaces 21141) sttrdied in the rrtean field approximation.It turns out that tlais ordered state coexists with spin-density-xvave state and also brings abotntCooper-pairs. A phase diagratuaa is deterrmined in the plarae of V and electron fillizag n.
