The effects of the tnagnetic field ,NB : B - B3 /2 applied to the laalf-filled Land art level (1/ = l /2)are sttrdied for the quanttuun transport in the framewor'k of' the coztaposite fernaions and Chern-Simons gatuge field. The anotnalotrsly large positive magneto-resistance and the AB-dependentquantutn correction to the condtrctance with In T dependence, T being the tenaperature, areexplained by the gatrge theory taking into accotrnt the particle-hole symtnetry at v = 172.
