Optical Spectra in the Ferromagnetic States near the Charge Ordering

The optical conductivity is studied numerically for the ferromagnetic metallic state close to thecharge ordering observed in perovskite manganites. We foctrs on roles of the charge fluctuationon the incoherent component in the optic?tl spectra, and consider the Coulomb interaction inthe one- and two-dimensional spinless fertaaion models. The numerical results show that theincoherent part is not noticeable, and near the quarter-filling, most of the spectral weightsare transferred to the Drude cotnponent. The discrepancy between our calculations and theexperirnents strggests that the orbital degrees of freedom play important roles.
