Magnetic Mechanism of Superconductivity in Coupled Spin-Fermion Systems

A coupled spin-fermion model is presented as a two-band model of high-7'. super-conductivity. The experimental relevance of the model is discussed. The high-I. super-conductivity is discussed the continuity of the strong coupling superconductivity tothe weak coupling region. The attractive interaction of holes seems to exist over awide range of parameters frotm weak to strong coupling cases. The small transferregion is useful to understand the pairing mechanism in the relevant strong couplingregion. The model includes the effective Hamiltonian of the single-band Hubbardmodel as a special case.
