Electrical Conductivity of Interacting Fermions.I.General Formulation

Electrical conductivity o(c;, T) of' a lattice electron system due only to mtrtual Coulornb inter-action is studied on the basis of the Fermi liquid theory, w and T being the external frequency andthe temperature, respectively. Based on the Kubo formula to respect the consistency betweenthe self'eneruv and the vertex corrections, a formulation of o(w>T) is uiven in terrns of memorvfunction which is extended to the matrix form. In this ['ormulation, it is explicitly demonstratedthat, in the absence of Umklapp processes, V"-term in the resistivity vanishes as it should inspite of the fact that the total ctrrrent is not conserved.
