Previously a simple relation k=δg_l, was derived on the basis of the Fermi gas model, where δg_l represents the change of orbital g-factor due to exchange currents for a proton and k the deviation from the classical sum rule for unretarded E1 photoabsorption. In this note the problem as to how k is experimentally determined is discussed, and also similar effects on beta decay are studied.
