Over a decade ago a relation between <α> and <いr> was derived on the basis of the CVC theory, and the validity of the relation has been extensively examined experimentally as well as theoretically. The purpose of this short note is to give a resume of theoretical and experimental aspects of the subject, which we call the extended Siegert theorem, and to present new results of numerical calculations for RaE.
