An anomalous analyzing power in the reaction ^<60>Ni(p,α) ^<57>Co(3/2^+) is studied in the framework of distorted-waves Born approximation. The anomaly is well reproduced by calculations based on the form factors and spectroscopic amplitudes which are derived from microscopic model wave functions.
