A procedure for preparing the antibody of mungbean (Vigna radiata (L.) Wilzeck) leghemoglobin using synthetic oligopeptide is discussed. Results of he Western blot analysis revealed that the purified antibody crossreacted specificaly with the leghemoglobins among the proteins extracted from mungbean root nodules.
