Large p_T Inclusive Photoproduction and Hard Scattering Model

• Assuming the quark structure of the photon, we consider the hadron production at large transverse momentum p_T in the process γp→hX in the framework of the hard scattering model. Investigation of invariant cross sections and particle rations near x_<||>=0 suggests the validity of our model. Our model predicts p_T^<-8> behavior of inclusive cross section as in hadron-hadron collisions and leads to the large charmed hadron production. These predictions will be checked by experimental data which will be expected to be available soon at CERN-SPS and FNAL.
