Our Milne-Spline method, though found very useful for most cases of the Sturm-Liouville differential equations, has not worked well for the associated Laguerre and Legendre equations if m = 0 due to admixture of singular solutions inevitable in numerical computations. This paper shows that the use of power series approximation about the regular-singular points resolves the difficulties.
