Single-Kaon Production by Neutrino and K_<l3> Decay Form Factors

We computed the total kaon production cross section of the reaction υ + p → μ^- + k^+ + p up to 175GeV, by using the form factors of linear, quadratic, single-pole type and Lee's, which were determined by measuring the K_<l3> decay. The result is that the single-pole type and Lee's form factors are consistent with the single strange particle production cross section, while the linear and quadratic form factors break down at about 5 and 1.8 GeV incident neutrino energies respectively. The lepton momentum transfer distribution is also computed with the single-pole type and Lee's form factors.
