Same Sign Dimuon Production and Charmed Quark Pair cc^^- Creation Effects in Inclusive ν(ν^^-)-N Scattering

We examine quantitatively the charm quark pair cc^^- creation effects in quark fragmentation on the same sign dimuon events in deep inelastic ν(ν^^-)-N scattering. Assuming that the dimuon events can occur through the charmed hadrons channel, the estimates of them are made based on the quark fragmentation within the quark-parton model. By comparing our results with available data, we obtain the possible bounds for the magnitude of contribution of charm quark pair cc^^- creation to the dimuon productions.
