We calculate the total cross section and q^2-distribution for the process νp→μ^-pπ^+, assuming that the hadronic intermediate states are saturated by s-channel πN resonances. In the (3, 3) resonance region, a reasonable fit is obtained with the experimental data. The contributions of the I=3/2 higher resonances are estimated.
