pp Elastic Scattering in NAL and ISR Energy Regions and Multiple Scattering in the Composite Model

The NAL and CERN-ISR data on proton-proton elastic scattering are analyzed on the assumption of the multiple scattering process with the composite model for hadrons. The observed dip at t≃ -1.4(GeV/c)^2 is interpreted as orginated from the interference between single and double scattering of urbaryons. The second dip is predicted to appear at about t≃ -5(GeV/c)^2 and , moreover, the dips are predicted to be deepest at the incident proton momentum p_L≃250 GeV/c where the real to imaginary radio of forward elastic amplitude crosses zero. The size and distribution status of urbaryons in the hadron are discussed. Pion-proton elastic scattering is also calculated at high energy. In addition, the super-peripheral component of proton-proton elastic amplitude is discussed in connection with the forward steep diffraction peak and the positive real to imaginary ratio of forward amplitude.
