• We investigate the reasons why the Λ-α potentials obtained with the hard-core Λ-Ν potentials have central repulsion and clarify that this feature is due to the properties of the Λ-Ν interaction and to the compactness of the α-particle. We discuss the transformation of these Λ-α potentials for the use in a bound state of ^5_ΛHe.
