The D_2 Parameter of the α Particle and Nucleon-Nucleon Force

We found that the D_2 parameter of the α particle is extremely sensitive to the short-range behavior of the tensor component of the nucleon-nucleon force. This fact suggests the possibility of constraining the NN force phenomenologically from the analysis of the D_2 parameter.
