Some Exactly Soluble Cases on Hopping Conductivity : Green Function Method : Condensed Matter and Statistical Physics

The Green function method is applied to the conductivity formula with the Hermitian transition matrix involved, which has previously been obtained exactly from the master equation. For a dilute-particle system on linear lattice with two asymmetric sites, quasi-linear decorated lattice or zigzag lattices, the conductivity can exactly be solved by this method. Comparative discussion is made of the local and long-range hoppings with the temperature-dependent behavior of the acconductivity found in some fluorides.
