Measurement of Vapor Pressure by the Gas Saturation Method Combined with Gas Chromatography

A simple gas saturation method combined with gas chromatography was developed to measure vapor pressure of substances. Reliable results were confirmed to be obtained for the vapor pressures of naphthalene and hexachlorobenzene near room temperature without interference due to coexisting impurities. The vapor pressures from 1mmHg down to the order of 10^<-6>mmHg could be measured.
