From the aerial parts of Scutellaria prostrata JACQ. ex BENTH., three compounds (1-3) were isolated, together with three known glycosides of phenylethanoid (4-6) and twenty-four known flavonoids (7-30). On the basis of the chemical and spectral evidences, 1-3 were identified as 2-carboxymethyl-3,5-dihydroxybiphenyl, 2-carboxyethyl-3,5-dihydroxybiphenyl and isoscutellarein 7-O-β-D-glucuronopyranoside, respectively. Compounds 1 and 2 were isolated from a natural source for the first time in this work.
