From the leaves of Scutellaria scandens, two new glycosides (I and II) were isolated, together with eleven known compounds, osmanthuside B, eugenyl β-D-glucopyranoside, 1-octen-3-ol β-D-glucopyranoside, 3-epi-oleanolic acid, 6,7-dimethyl-5-benzofuranol, (-)-syringaresinol, kobusone, caryophyllenols I and II, clovane-diol and 2-methoxy-clovanol. Compounds I and II were identified as 2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)ethyl 6'-O-sinapoyl-β-D-glucopyianoside and 4-methoxycarbonylmethylphenyl 6'-O-sinapoyl-β-D-glucopyranoside, respectively, on the basis of the spectral and chemical data.
