Furo[3,2-b]indole Derivatives. VI. Synthesis and Inhibitory Effect on Platelet Aggregation of Furo[3,2-b]indole Derivatives(Medical Chemistry,Chemical)

In our screening of various pharmacological activities of furo[3,2-b]indole derivatives, we found that N,N-bis(2-hydroxyethyl)furo[3,2-b]indol-2-carboxamides and 2-bis(2-hydroxyethyl)-aminomethylfuro[3,2-b]indole derivatives showed potent inhibitory effects on platelet aggregation in vitro and ex vivo. Among these compounds, 2-bis(2-hydroxyethyl)aminomethyl-4-ethyl-6-tritluoromethylfuro[3,2-b]indole was found to have the most potent pharmacological activity.
