We have investigated the microwave dielectric properties and crystal structure of the CaO-SrO-Li_2O-Sm_2O_3・Ln_2O_3-TiO_2 system (Ln: lanthanide). This system is orthorhombic with a GdFeO_3-type perovskite structure, which is the same as that of CaTiO_3. It was also seen that the lanthanide ionic radius has a strong influence on the dielectric properties. Namely, the dielectric constant is affected by the unit-cell volume and the f・Q value is affected by variations in the crystals structure and by the appearance of another phase. Excellent dielectric properties of ε_r = 123 and f・Q value=4150 GHz and good temperature stability for the resonant frequency (τ^'_f = 10.8 ppm/℃) at 3GHz were obtained with a composition pf CaO : SrO : Li_2O :Sm_2O_3 :Nd_2O_3 :TiO_2 =15 : 1 : 9 : 6 : 6 : 63 (molar ratio).
