Ruthenium-containing 1222 superconductors, Ru_xNb_<1-x>Sr_2Sm_<1.2>Ce_<0.8>Cu_2O_z (x≤1.0), have been prepared and characterized. Almost monophasic samples are obtained for x=0, 0.5, 0.76 and 1.0. Samples annealed at 0.4 MPa of oxygen exhibit superconductivity below 25-32 K except for the x=1 sample which contains a ferromagnetic secondary phase.
