本論文では, 自律的カオスメモリ探索や自己想起に適用される簡単なカオスニューラルネットワークモデルを提案する. この人工ニューロンモデルは, 周期の自律的制御, 並びに, カオスダイナミクスを実現するために導入された正弦波的活性化関数によって特徴づけられる. また, 本ニューロンモデルは, シグモイド関数のような単調写像を用いた従来のカオスモデルを上回るダイナミックメモリ想起の能力を有することが明らかにされる. このゆういせいは, ニューロンのカオス的振舞いを引き起こすアナログ周期写像の非単調特性に起因することが結論されている. 自律的周期制御を有する本アナログニューロンモデルは, 従来の単調ダイナミクスと比較して, 著しく大きい記憶容量を有することが見出されている.
