In this paper we shall propose a novel chaos netmral network naodel applied to the chaoticautoassociation naettaory. The present artificial netrron taaodel is properly characterized in ternas ofa time-dependent periodic activation ['trnction to involve a chaotic dynaaaaics as well as the energysteepest descent strategy. Itis eltrcxidated that the present neural network has a renaarkable abilityof' the dynanaic ntemory retrievals beyozad the conventional ttaodels with the nonunonotonousactivation ftrnction as well 218 such a tnonotonotrs ?rctivation f'trnction 21S sigrrxoidal one. Thisadvantage is f'ound to restrlt f'rotaa t.he property of the a'tnalogtre periodic uaaapping ?tcconxpaniedwith a chaotic behaviotmr of the rnetrrons. It is 2llSO concltrded Chant the present analogtre neturonmodel with the periodicity control has an apparently large rnenaory capacity in comp?trison withthe previously proposed association rnodels.
