We investigate, analytically and numerically, the ground state of the S=1/2 distorted diamond type spin chain having three kinds of couplings, where one or two types of the couplings are ferromagnetic. We obtained the phase diagram at zero-magnetic field and also at M_s/3, where M_s is the saturation magnetization. We also discuss the plateau at (2/3)M_s.
