Ltrminescence spectra of excitorus localized art iodirae or broraaine Tons in CsCI have 1.ceen sttmdiedita the ternper,.rttrre range 10-300 K. Two b;rrads appe;tr at 3.96 and 5.13 eV in CSCI:I, whilethr'ee ].cands are observed at 3.84, 4,34 arad 5.2T eV in CsCl:Br. Time decay behaviors of' these1.cands are uaaeastrred ttrader' the sirngle-btrtach operattion of synchrotron ratdi?ttiora. It is f'oundtlaat tlae 4.34-eV ltrraaituescer?ce in CsCl:Br laas a r'ise cotaapouaent srrotrrud l ns .just after tlae pulseexcitatiott. Iza atddition, tiume-resolved ltrnainescetace spectra are investigated tlarotmgh txvo differenttiraae xvirrdows. For the 3,96-eV ltrtaainescetace ita CSCI:I. flue slow-couaaponetat peak is locatedabotrt 40 nneV loxver tlaatt tlte f'?tst-coznpor?ent peak. For'tlae 4.34-eV ltruaainescence in CsCl:Br,the slow-cotaaponerat peak is located 210 111(BV loxx'er thattu time f'ast one. Tlaese resttlts strggest tltat2111 adiabatic potential etaergy stur'f'ace hers 801116 locarl taairuiraaa ['or the loc?tlized excitons ita CsCl.Tlue difference ina the re1?txatiot'x jcrocess of' excitons loetxveeua N?tal- and CsCI-type strtrcttrres isdisctrssed.
