Specific Heat of NaV_6O_<11> Single Crystals

The specific heat of N2LV6O]1 single crystal was investigated with an AC calorimeter. Lambdatype anomalies at 64.3, 80.1 and 242.7 K were observed. It is found that the transition tenaperatttre of the P63/mrnc - P63tnc structural transition is 242.T K, which has been reported to occtrrat a temperature between 200 K and room temperature, The anornalies at 64.3 and 242.7 Kcoincide well with the two rnagnetic transitions previotrsly reported. Present specific heat sttrdycoupled with single crystal X-ray diffraction data reveals that the P63rnc - Cl11C21 structuraltransition occurs at 80.1 K and accornpanies the kink in the resistivity. Previotts sttrdy reportedthat the P63mc - Cmc2) structural transition occurs at 35 -40 K, however no anomaly in thespecific heat was observed at 35-40 K in this sttzdy.
