Phase transitions of mixed crys1.als (NO.).(BeF.). ..(503)..? have been investigatedby means of dielectric measurements and X-ray diffraction. The phase transitionscheme clearly devides the phase diagram into two regions. One is (NO.),BeF. richregion (,v30.33) where the crystals undergo a successive phase trrtnsitions (paraelectric-incommensurate and incommensurate-ferroelectric), the same as that of (NU.).-BeF.. The other one is (NH.).S0. rich region (,vg0.5l) where fl?e crystals undergoonly one phase transition (paraelectric-ferroelectric) as in the crystal (NH.),SO..Neither a P2,2,2, phase nor a glass-like state which was reported ima the earlier papersis confirmed in the present work.[(NH.).(BeF.), ...(SO.).., mixed crystals, dielectric constants, X-ray diffraction, lj phase transitionI
