A new expression for the electron thermal transport which is an extension ofSpitzer and HMrm theory to the case of steep temperature gradient is presented.The effects of nonlocal properties of the temperature profile on the heat fluxare taken into account by retaining the third order terms in Chapman-Enskogexpansion, while Spitzer and lIMrm theory retains only the first order term.A. R. Bell et al. [Phys. Rev. Left., 46, (1981)] 243 have investigated the heat fluxin steep temperature gradient by the Fokker-Planck euqation. Their results arequalitatively investigated by our perturbation expansion analysis.
