Effects of Thermal Conduction and Compressibility on Rayleigh-Taylor Instability

In order to study the stability of the ablatiom front in laser driven implosion,the thermal conduction and compressibility effects on the [(ayleigh-Taylorinstability are considered. It is found that the thermal conductic?n effect cannotstabilize the Rayleigh-Taylor mode, but reduce the growth rate in the shortwavelength case. But, the growth rate is found not to differ frc?m the classicalvalue Vgk in the long wavelength limit, where the compressibility is essential.
