The magnetic field effects on the resonance absorption are investigated bynumerical analysis in laser produced plasmas. The numerical analysis includes the ex-panding plasma dynamics determining the density profile modification and the d.c.magnetic field induced by the resonance absorption. The numerical results show thatthe absorption rate is enhanced by both the density profile steepening and the d.c.magnetic fields. The maximum absorption rate is found to increase up to 70% for thelaser intensity, 12' of 10" Wprn'/ crn'.
