The temperature dependence of the nuclear transverse relaxation rate, 1 / T., of CuNQR in YBa.Cu.O, ,and La. .Sr.CuO.is measured in the superconducting and thenormal states. The anomalous enhancement of 1 / T. at the Curl) and Cu(2) sites is ob-served at 35 K in YBa.Cu,O, , but is not observed in the superconducting La. .Sr.Cub..[NQR, spin-spin relaxation time T., high-7'. superconductivity, Laz .Sr.CuO., ll YBa.Cu.0.l
