Analysis of the Radial Profile of Ion Temperature in ICRF-Heated GAMMA10 Plasmas Including the Effects of Ion Finite Larmor Radius

This paper describes a modified method of analysis of the charge exchange neutrals for determi-nation of the radial profile of ion temperature including the effect of the ion finite Larmor radius.It also includes the effect of the charge exchange reaction with neutral hydrogen molecules. TheICRF-heated plasmas in the central cell of the GAlV[MA1O tandem mirror were analyzed by tak-ing into account these effects. The obtained energy spectra and the count-rate spatial profilesof charge exchange neutrals were consistent with the experinnental results. The present method,thus, proved to be effective in determining the radial profile of ion temperature.
