Enhancement of the Sum and Difference Frequencies in Shubnikov-de Haas Oscillation at Yamaji Angle in the Layered Perovskite Sr_2RuO_4

XVith regard to the Shubnikov-de Haas oscillations in SI2RU1O4, an LlIlLlSLl2ll enhancement wasfotrnd in oscillatory conuponents with freqttencies Fja+c, : Fja L F. f'or a particular orietatationof' the crystal in the magnetic field, xvhere F. and F73 s,re the oscillatory frequencies for thetwo-diuaaensional Fertaai strrf'ace branches, a and f3, respectively. The orientation is given by theso-called Yama,ji angles corresponding to the uaaaxiraaa ira the angle-dependent magnetoresistanceoscillation, where the carriers in the slightly warped cylindrical Fernau strrface behave as nf theywere in a two-dirnensional systera?. The resttlts can be understood in terrns of the chetaaicalpotential oscillation effect 218 predicted by Nakano f'or de Haas-van Alphen oscillations.
