Magnetic Phase Diagram of the Pseudo-Binary Ordered Alloy Fe(Pd_xPt_<1-x>)_3

Magnetic phase diagram of the pseudo-binary ordered alloy Fe(Pd_xPt_<1-x>)_3 is calculated on the basis of the localized spin model by the use of the method of distribution function. In this model we assume that the Pd atoms have a nonlinear local susceptibility. Calculations are performed within the two versions of the mean field approximation, called the MFA-1 and the MFA-0. In the MFA-1, the local environment effect on the Fe spin is taken into account through the number of its nearest-neighboring Pd atoms, whereas in the MFA-0, this effect is neglected. The result obtained within the MFA-1 shows that the magnetic moment of the Fe atom depends drastically on the number of its nearest-neighboring Pd atoms and that the gross feature of the calculated phase diagram is in good agreement with the experimental one.
