SH-Quantum and Accelerator Data on High P_T Phenomena

ISR data on inclusive one-particle high P_T distributions at large center-of-mass angles, and on inclusive two- and three-particle correlations associated with high P_T π^0-meson emitted at large center-of-mass angles, are analysed by taking into account the production of SH-quantum and its subsequent two-step decay into pions through H-quanta. Good fits to the experimental data are obtained with the values of the masses, temperatures and mean pion multiplicities of SH- and H-quanta consistent with those known from the cosmic ray data. It results from the present analysis that the production cross section of SH-quantum at ISR energy is 2〜3% of the inelastic cross section.
