Unitarity at Threshold and Veneziano-Type Form Factors for Mesons

A simple form of Veneziano type form factors is investigated and applied to K_<l3>-decay form factors. The p-wave part is determined by using the unitarity condition at threshold and the Veneziano model for scattering amplitudes. The PCAC condition and the broken chiral symmetry with current commutation relations are used for determining the swave part. The results are f_K/f_πf_+(0)=1.24 and ξ=-0.15. Suura's method is also applied and shown to give f_K/f_πf_+(0)=1.41.
