The effect of adding IgG to the culture medium on the growth of cultured human neuroblastoma cells (NB-1 cells) was investigated. 1) IgG added to the culture medium at concentrations of 2.5 mg/ml or over the figure significantly suppressed, in a dose-response manner, the growth of NB-1 cells. 2) It was considered that the retardation of the growth of NB-1 cells was due to the binding of IgG with IgG-Fc receptors on the cells.
