Parameters concerning physical properties of piezoelectric ceramic pieces, made of Pb (Ti-Zr) O_3,were analyzed. Frequency characteristics of the main mode showed several resonant peaks between 40 to 800 Hz. Electrostriction caused by the accessory vibration was practically zero. At a certain fixed frequency, the input-output relation was linear with voltage amplitudes. The increases in current density did not show increments of the vibration. Magnitude of the vibration was increased with increase of the distance from the fulcrum point. Application of dampers to the plate limited small spontaneous vibrations and worked as a stabilizing factor. The possible use of the piezoelectric ceramic for a mechanical stimulator was discussed.
