A case of non-specific multiple ulcers in the ileocecal region with intrahepatic cholestasis and hyperthyroidism.

A 55-year-old man was admitted with complaints of periumbilical pain, weight loss and jaundice in July, 1986. Laboratory evaluation revealed moderate anemia, hepatic disorder with hyperbilirubinemia and hyperthyroidism. Barium enema and colonofiberscopy revealed multiple ulcers in the terminal ileum and on the Bauhin's valve. Jaundice and hyperthyroidism were improved by the treatment with prednisolone and thiamazole and right hemicolectomy was performed on November 14, 1986. The histological findings was consistent with nonspecific multiple ulcers in the ileoceral region.
