Separation behaviour was examined for 1-propanol with ultrasonic atomization of aqueous 1-propanol solution. It was confirmed that the possibility of breaking azeotropic limitation with ultrasonic atomization. Lowering liquid temperature was important for obtaining better separation due to the suppression of evaporation. The effect of humidity in the air as a carrier gas on the concentration of 1-propanol in atomized product was studied.
